NOTE: Check out this weak move, because this is important: in my haste I neglected to give full credit in the liner notes to two fellows who did amazing work on this record. Unbelievable. The songs "Make No Mistake" and "Golden States" were produced and arranged by Dan Elkan. The song "Explain Yourself" was produced and arranged by Bobby Birdman. Those are three of the best songs on the record, and it has everything to do with those guys. I gave them some sketchy voice-and-acoustic-guitar demos and they gave you what can only be described as "rad jams." Anyway, I'll be kicking myself for that mistake for years. No joke, this is my all-time dumbest blunder that doesn't involve one or more human females. Sorry to Dan and Bobby and thank you to Dan and Bobby. Credit where credit is dude.
Music Friends

released on April 23rd, 2013

1. Rocket Science (Brett Shady)
2. Denver, CO (Golden Shoulders)
3. Heart of Golden (Golden Shoulders)
4. Wonderful (Brett Shady)
5. Darling (Golden Shoulders)

On March 23rd, 2013, Golden Shoulders and Brett Shady recorded some previously-unheard songs in a house.

The Golden Shoulders songs on here are Adam Kline backed up by Brett Shady, Jason Graham, and Jonathan Hansard. And they were all written by Adam, except for Denver, CO, which was adapted by Adam Kline from some words by Erin Roberts.

Adam sang and played guitar and did some handclaps. Brett sang and played guitar and did some handclaps too. Jason recorded it, played drums, ukelele, keys, and sang and clapped his hands. Jonathan recorded it, played banjo, trumpet, keys, and melodica, and sang. Mastered by Dana Gumbiner.
Music Romans

released on May 6th, 2016

1. Now Accepting Applications
2. Everybody's Trying To Be My Villain
3. Know What I Think
4. Genius
5. All Your Life

During the first weekend of April, 2016, Adam Kline and Dave Brockman recorded these five songs in Dave's house. Now Accepting Applications is a brand new song. All Your Life is a song originally written for the first Golden Shoulders album in 2001 that was left off of that album. All of these recordings are new and homemade. Adam sang and played guitar. Dave drummed and played keyed instruments and sang. We had a good time. Mastered by Dana Gumbiner.
